Service Description
The Brooklyn Counseling Center offers mental health services to children (5+), adolescents, and adults. Providers work with individuals and families experiencing a wide range of concerns including addiction, sadness, emotional crisis, forging healthy relationships, living with mental illness, worry, and loss. They are not currently accepting any commercial insurance, but see patients with Medicaid, Medicare and have sliding scale for the uninsured. Services are provided in English, Spanish, and Russian. The Center uses a translation line for other language needs.

The Center is a part of the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. They work to strengthen families and communities throughout New York City by helping individuals of all backgrounds realize their potential and live as independently as possible.
