Service Description
Serving over 1,000 children and families every year, The Moore Family Counseling Center provides outpatient mental health and psychiatric services for people struggling with a wide range of emotional and social problems. The Center is a part of the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. They work to strengthen families and communities throughout New York City by helping individuals of all backgrounds realize their potential and live as independently as possible.

Specialized services for adults and children include: evaluation and assessment, crisis intervention, and medication management, as well as ongoing individual, couples, family and group therapy. Services are provided in English, Russian, and Spanish with Orthodox Jewish therapists on staff. There is a sliding fee scale for those without insurance.
