Service Description
The Wendt Center for Loss and Healing is a premier resource for restoring hope and healthy functioning to adults, teens and children who are coping with grief, loss and trauma in the Greater Washington region. The Wendt Center offers counseling for dealing with grief and loss issues, support groups, children’s services, crime victim services, professional training and community education, crisis response and Recover: Support for Survivors of Sudden Traumatic Death. They also offer Camp Forget-Me-Not during the summer. Sliding scale available for eligible families.
