Service Description
The CU Denver Student and Community Counseling Center provides counseling services to community members and Denver Public Schools (DPS) students and their families at a nominal fee. Counseling sessions are led by practicum students in the graduate program in the CU Denver School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) and are supervised by licensed counseling professionals. Community Client payments are based on income or affiliation, with a sliding scale and ranging from $10 – $50 a session. Crisis sessions are offered for those that need help with an acute mental health crisis. Sessions can be in person or via telehealth. Note: This location offers therapy for 6 to 12 sessions.
