Service Description
AMITA Health Behavioral Medicine Institute Children’s Center Chicago (formerly Chicago Children’s Center for Behavioral Health) offers children and adolescents ages 3–17 no-cost assessments and referrals for a full spectrum of behavioral health conditions.
Our compassionate and dedicated team of behavioral health professionals — including doctors, nurses, counselors, therapists, teachers and support staff — follow a simple mission: help kids heal. We know that each child is unique, so we work closely with families and the child’s community to personalize a therapy plan for their needs, through our inpatient or outpatient programs. Our educational therapy offers classroom instruction with a certified teacher five hours a week and upon discharge, the teacher will discuss a transition plan with your child’s school. We also partner with agencies throughout the Chicago area and Illinois to ensure the continuity of care that your child needs to succeed.
