Service Description
Anixter Center has proudly served hundreds of thousands of people in the Chicago area since 1919. Today, we focus our work on serving people with disabilities, behavioral health needs, and people who are Deaf, Deaf, Blind, or Hard of Hearing through a variety of programs.

Each person who experiences mental health symptoms has a different journey, and Anixter Center’s aim is to assist individuals in moving past issues associated with mental illness. Licensed, trained, empathic staff provide one to one and group counseling sessions. We provide individual services on the therapeutic steps to recovery, medication training, socialization, finding autonomy while building life skills, and help in meeting employment goals.
