Service Description
For more than a century, Association House of Chicago has played a significant and historic role in Chicago’s Westside neighborhoods. Today, Association House continues to serve thousands of families each year, through programs that promote health and wellness, advance education, child welfare, and provide economic opportunity. We take a firm, explicit, and public stance in support of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized individuals and communities both within our own service areas and beyond. As a part of our mental health counseling program, you can trust our therapists to identify the right type of support at the right time. Our therapists are trauma-informed and culturally affirming. Whether you have had therapy in the past or are seeking services for the first time, we are here for you. In addition to the therapy approaches listed below, we offer Emotionally Focused Therapy, Eclectic Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Strengths-based Therapy.
