Service Description
The goal of the support group is to empower women to positively improve their lives and the lives of their families. The majority of participants have experienced an abusive family situation either currently or in the past. On average, 15 women participate each week in the Circulo de Mujeres Latinas en Acción Spanish-language workshop geared at garnering their self-confidence and knowledge of legal and psychological resources to improve their lives. Dr. Campos covers a wide array of topics such as strengthening self-esteem, health, personal growth & self-realization, increasing emotional awareness, and learning their rights for living a life free of violence.
