Service Description
GMHC is the world’s first HIV/AIDS service organization. Their mission is to end the AIDS epidemic and uplift the lives of all affected. Depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues can be significant challenges for people living with HIV/AIDS. GMHC provides nonjudgmental mental health services to their clients as part of their comprehensive strategy to support people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Although their services are designed to serve the needs of people who have tested positive for HIV, they also provide mental health services to those who are HIV-negative. Substance use programs are grant funded and no insurance is required for enrollment and participation. For more information follow this link: https://www.gmhc.org/services/substance-use/
Walk-in appointments are available Tuesday-Thursday, 9:30 am-4:30 pm. Monday and Friday hours are by appointment only
