The New Beginnings Community Counseling Center provides quality mental health services to adults and children throughout New York City. The program includes services for chronic substance users who are also diagnosed with a mental health disorder. The center provides psychiatric, psychological, and social work assessment, crisis intervention, pharmacotherapy, case management, family therapy, and individual and group psychotherapy, behavior management and psychoeducational services. Family members of adult and child patients participate in behavioral management and psychoeducational groups, and are encouraged to attend monthly family support group sessions
