Akoma Counseling Concepts, LLC is a female minority owned mental health counseling and consultation practice that specializes in women’s mental health. We also specialize in perinatal mental health counseling. We provide counseling services to women on site/in-office in the metro Washington, DC area. We provide consulting services to community, education, or health care professionals to promote mental health awareness , advocacy, and cultural competency in the work place. We provide continuing education and training on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (postpartum depression, miscarriage, fertility issues, perinatal loss, and postpartum anxiety).
