Service Description
Masters-level social workers, case managers, and medical professionals at the Sanctuary for Families provide skilled and sensitive counseling services to all survivors of gender violence, including LGBTQ+ individuals, unaccompanied minor immigrant children, children experiencing family reunification, and survivors of trafficking, FGM and forced marriage. Their clinical staff include counselors familiar with the unique needs of immigrant groups including the West African and South Asian communities. In addition to individual and group counseling, patients can access case management, crisis intervention, and participate in survivor leadership programs.
