Our goal at Serenity Inc. is to help survivors of domestic violence heal and regain their personal strength and power. Trained and experienced advocates can be reached 24-hours a day on our hotline at 870-424-7233 (SAFE).

Since 1988, we have been bringing domestic peace to the families of Baxter and Marion Counties, in addition to the surrounding counties of North Central Arkansas by providing emergency shelter and advocacy services. Since 2014, we are one out of very few shelters that allows pets. Today, Serenity employs 12 professionals and a dedicated group of over 40 volunteers who provide emergency shelter services, assistance with protection orders, and advocacy toward independence (housing, education, employment and healthcare), support group programs, and client transportation. Serenity operates two resale stores, offering clients goods free of charge and utilizing general sales income to support operations. Serenity’s Safe Shelter is located in Mountain Home and services both Baxter and Marion counties.
