Since 2020, Therapy4thePeople has connected thousands of help-seekers with the mental health resources and care they need to live happier, healthier lives.
Doing this work has taught us so much. We’ve learned more about help-seekers, their needs, and how we can best serve them. And, we’ve learned more about ourselves as an organization–namely what it’s going to take for an all-volunteer, remote team to translate our vision to reality.
So, we’re changing things up.
Today, we’re excited to announce that Therapy4thePeople will soon become Healwise.
We chose this new name because we believe it better reflects what we offer help-seekers: healing, yes, but also wisdom. For many help-seekers, the mental health system is complex and confusing. We exist to uncomplicate it, both through education and our extensive platform of affordable mental health services.
It was also important for us to de-emphasize therapy in our name. A key part of our vision is helping people discover a range of peer- and community-based mental health supports.
While our name has changed, our mission has not: we’re still dedicated to creating a more accessible, affordable, supportive mental health system.
Our rebrand will coincide with another change that we’re excited about – we’re upgrading our tech! This fall we‘ll relaunch our platform and educational resource center on a website that is faster, more stable, and more capable of delivering on our mission.
We’re deeply grateful to our team and supporters for helping us reach this incredible milestone. Thank you to our donors for investing in our vision. And a special thank you to Edelman, whose generous Community Investment Grant gave us the funding we needed to make our vision a reality.

Thank you for your support!
