Service Description
NYC Well offers free, confidential mental health support. Individuals can speak to a counselor via phone, text, or chat and get access to mental health and substance use services in more than 200 languages. Counselors can listen to your concerns and give you immediate support for problems like stress, depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol use. They also offer crisis counseling and suicide prevention counseling. Finally, Peer Support Specialists, with personal experience with mental health or substance use challenges, are available.

New Yorkers of all ages can call or chat. You can reach out for yourself, or on behalf of someone you know.
